Public Skate

Public skating is the perfect way to spend time with friends, family and co-workers! Our atmosphere provides music, skate rental, walkers for people starting out, and friendly staff. The Paul Hruby Ice Arena is located at 415 Lake Street.

Public Skate will now require a pre-registration in order to participate. Registrations can be made up to 7 days in advance and will close 1 day prior to the session. Please email kayla.fauria@pdop.org with questions.

Masks must be worn at all times. Skaters who have their own skates are to put their skates on outside of the building and exit before taking off their skates. Skatersare to maintain 6ft of social distance from anyone not in their immedaite group/famil at all times.

All skating times included with rink pass unless otherwise indicated. Special Events subject to special pricing.

Admission Fees:

Public Skate: $8 per person or free with pass. Skate rental included.

Skate Mate: $5 for children, 1 adult per child, FREE! All adults must be accompanied by a child, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Skate rental included.


Noon Skate: $4 per person or free with pass

School's Out Skate: $7, or free with pass (March 17, Spring Break, April 10, May 25)

Adult Rat Hockey and Women's Rat Hockey: $12

All Ages Stick and Puck (Spring, Summer and Holidays): $12

skateacademyHomeschool Skate 

The first Tuesday of each month: Mar 3, Apr 7, May 5, RCRC will be hosting a Homeschool Skate during noon skate for families with homeschooled children. Noon skate rate and skate rental will apply for participants who do not wish to take the lesson. Participants who wish to take the lesson can pre-register for the skate lesson to pay the discounted rate of $4. Day of skate lesson registration is $7. (Skate rental is an additional $3)
