The Park District of Oak Park offers rentals at many of its community centers and facilities for birthday parties, baby and wedding showers, family gatherings, meetings and more. Oak Park Non-Profit organizations can now rent our communty centers, for only $20/hour!
Centers available for rental: Andersen, Austin Gardens Environmental Education Center,
Barrie, Carroll, Field, Fox, and Longfellow. Rentals available Monday-Thursday 7pm-10pm, pending availability. 2 hr minimum rental required. Contact Customer Service at 708-725-2000 for more information.
Rental Opportunities at Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex
The Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex features a new regulation-sized ice arena and the ever-popular Ridgeland Common outdoor pool that are available for birthday party rentals. This community recreation hub also features two multi-purpose rooms (occupancy of 85 and 55) as well as a small conference room (occupancy 20) that are available for rental. Rental Opportunities at the Austin Gardens Environmental Education Center
The Austin Garden Environmental Education Center offers a rental opportunity for a group of 30 seated(w/tables) or up to 50 people in a classroom setting(w/o tables) within the main room overlooking the park. Please be aware the outdoor space and tables are also available to the park patrons.. For more information please see community center/facility rental information. Submit an online rental request.
Submitting a Rental Request
Online (Recommended): Complete and submit an online request on the Park District website for review. If confirmed, instructions for submitting the $100 damage deposit and rentals fees will be sent on a receipt via e-mail. Please note that payment of the damage deposit (and full payment of rental fees if scheduled less than a month in advance) must be paid within 3 business days after the confirmation is sent or the reservation will be cancelled.
Fax, Mail, or In Person: Complete and submit the Community Center/Facility Rental Application for review. Rental requests made less than one month in advance must also include full payment for all rental fees in addition to the application and deposit. Applicants can expect to receive a response regarding their application within 10 business days after the request. Once approved, a confirmation will be sent via e-mail.
