New murals were recently installed by Oak Park Area Arts Council Off the Wall Program.

 

Grant Funds Awarded for Environmental Learning Center

May 11, 2013: Governor Pat Quinn announced Illinois Department of Natural Resources grant awards for 45 Illinois park districts including a $400,000 matching grant for the Park District of Oak Park to develop an Environmental Learning Center at Austin Gardens.

 

Ridgeland Common Groundbreaking

The official Ridgeland Common Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on Saturday, March 9 at 10am at Ridgeland Common to celebrate this Park District milestone and signal the start of the Ridgeland Common Renovation Project.

Park District of Oak Park Secures $400,000 Grant for Lindberg Park Improvements

The Park District of Oak Park was recently notified by the Office of Governor Quinn and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources that the Park District of Oak Park will receive a $400,000 matching grant for the development of Lindberg Park.
