The Program Guide is the main marketing tool of the Park District of Oak Park and is delivered quarterly to all 25,000 residences in Oak Park. An additional 4,000 copies are distributed to all Oak Park Public Library locations, Village Hall, Oak Park Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and many more locations. Dasher Board Ads
The Paul Hruby Ice Arena hosts tens of thousands of visitors each year and offers a wide range of programs and activities serving Oak Park and surrounding communities. Dasher board advertising is available in the newly renovated Hruby Ice Arena which is located inside of the Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex. See Dasher Board Advertising Agreement.
Frank Lloyd Wright Races
The Frank Lloyd Wright Races are held each year in October, featuring a 5K Run/Walk, a 10K Run and a Youth Mile. The 5K and 10K Courses are USA Track and Field Certified. This popular annual event attracts thousands of participants and spectators. The Frank Lloyd Wright Races are named for the 10K race route, which passes by eight historically relevant Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings, including the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. Started in 1976, the FLW Races are one of the longest-running racing events in Illinois. Runners range in age from five years old to over 80, and come from throughout the Chicagoland area, the state and neighboring states. There are several levels of sponsorship available to support the Frank Lloyd Wright Races. Additionally in-kind donations are also part of the sponsorship program. Sponsorships are available for special events throughout the year, including:
Summer Concerts, Movies in the Park, Parks Passport Program
Seasonal celebrations such as Fall Fest, Annual Egg Hunt, Day In Our Village Carnival and Breakfast, Lunch and Tea with Santa
Teen events, Active Adult programs, Adult and Youth Sports and more
Summer Fitness programs in the parks.
