Robert McCormick Museum at Cantigny

09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Enjoy two great museums plus the renowned Cantigny Gardens: 1) The Robert R. McCormick Museum is an historic house and museum and reveals the public and private sides of one of America’s wealthiest and most philanthropic men: Chicago Tribune editor and publisher Robert R. McCormick (1880-1955); 2) The First Division Museum is dedicated to the history of the famed 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. It has seen continuous service since its organization in 1917 during World War I.. Many exhibits are interactive and all of them provide fascinating insights about America’s military, past and present. ALSO: enjoy Cantigny Gardens, created in 1967 by renowned landscape architect Franz Lipp. The Gardens offer nearly 30 acres of formal gardens, theme plantings and statuary, promising exceptional beauty in all seasons.
