Passport to Adventure
Join the Park District of Oak Park on your day off from school! On select days when District 97 students are off, we've got some fun field trips and activities planned that you can sign up for! Spend your day with us: laughing, exploring, and trying something new! Regular care is offered from 8am-3pm and extended care is offered from 8am-6pm. Please see below for the list of update passport dates and their corresponding field trips! For kids age 5-12.

Do you love art, science and cooking? Then what better way to spend your day off of school than combining all three to play smart? Keep your brain active by spending the day making beautiful masterpieces, conducting awesome science experiments and preparing and cooking some delicious treats! Regular care is offered from 8am-3pm and extended care is offered from 8am-6pm. For kids age 5-12.

School's Out: Young Explorers (Ages 3-5)
Participants will have fun as they laugh, play, and explore the day away. Different days will explore different content areas. Please dress your child for messy play inside and outside. Snack will be provided.

This workshop is designed for players who already know the basic Chess moves. The workshop will include fun interactive learning as well as a mini-tournament with prizes. Please bring your own snack.

Power up your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as: Hot Air Balloons, Space stations, Tugboats, and the Eiffel Tower to name a few! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.

Chestnut Mountain Teen Ski Trip
Spend your day off from school on the slopes of Chestnut Mountain in Galena, Illinois. Chestnut Mountain features a 475-foot vertical drop meanders a 3,500 feet through 19 runs, ranging from novice to black diamond. The mountain also has two quad chairs, four triple chairs, two conveyor lifts and one surface lift to get you back up to the top. For ages 11-18.

Passport to Adventure
Enjoy your Spring Break with our Passport to Adventure program. Each day's schedule is packed with high energy games, unique crafts, and a combination of structured and self-directed activities to keep your child engaged. This program is from 8:00am-3:00pm. If care is needed after 3:00pm, please sign up for the extended version, which runs from 8:00am-6:00pm.

Chicago Edge Soccer Academy
Chicago Edge Soccer Academy is brought to you by Chicago Edge Soccer Club Director of Coaching, Murray Findlay. Players will work on first touch and ball control in a fast, dynamic and fun environment. It will include individual possession, 1v1's 2v2's and other small sided games that will be progressed over the course of the week. It is a great way to sharpen your soccer skills prior to the Spring Season whether you play travel, AYSO or recreational soccer.
This camp is designed for both beginners and experienced young players. All participants will learn cool new strategies at the appropriate level from a renowned Chess Scholars coach. Children will have an opportunity to test for a Chess Belt under a unique Chess Scholars system patterned after martial arts belts. Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching period and guided practice time. There will also be a chess competition with prizes! Each camper will take home a chess set and an award. Please bring your own snacks.

Intro to STEM with LEGO® Camp
Tap into your imagination with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects such as: Boats, Snowmobiles, Catapults, and Merry-Go-Rounds. Design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.
Arts Spring Break Camp (SCAW)
This art camp is designed for students to explore their creativity, meet new people, and gain confidence. A new project or medium will be introduced each day. Students will create art indoors and even out (weather permitting), during their morning studio time. The morning will be split into two different 50 minute workshops, all exploring new ideas! After lunch campers will engage in games, free choice, outdoor time, and much . . . much . . . more! Sign up to get creative with us in this camp!
Circus Spring Break Camp
This camp is designed for students to try their hand at Circus. This is an introduction to the art with a small showcase display for parents on the last day. You will learn basic tricks and stunts straight from the circus. Trapeze and aerial silks will be taught. This is a unique opportunity and a great way to improve strength and coordination.
This morning camp gives your child time to get creative with friends, in a studio enviornment. Registration includes clay, glazes, and time on one of our 6 potters wheels. Spend your time away from school getting your ceramics on! Spots are limited so sign up today!
Clay Monsters Camp
Spend a week getting creative as you design your very own monster. Students will start with learning how to create a pinch pot. Monsters will then begin to transform as you add horns, teeth, spiked hair, one . . . . or twelve eyeballs! Each monster will be as unique as the artist that designs it. 1-2:30pm
School's Out Skate:
Enjoy a day off school ice skating at the RCRC. These open skates run 11:30am-1:30pm, on days District 97 is not in session, and are geared towards students. So grab your friends and hit the ice!
School's Out Skate Admission Fee:
$7 or by skating pass.
Skate rental is $3.
