*The splash pad is open from 10am to 9pm everyday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

A site master plan was developed for Longfellow Park in 2007 and the Park and Center were renovated from August 2008 through May 2009. A grand re-opening celebration for the park and center took place on May 30, 2009.

Besides the new playground areas and splash pad, Longfellow Park features the only full court basketball area in the district and also provides lighted tennis courts.
