Bring your racing and running season to a close in historic Oak Park with the flat, fast, and scenic route of the 2013 Frank Lloyd Wright Races, featuring a 5K Run/Walk, the 10K Run, and the Youth Mile for ages 7-14. All events are on Sunday, October 20 and start just east of Oak Park River Forest High School (201 N. Scoville Avenue in Oak Park) at Scoville and Ontario Streets, and finish on Scoville in front of the school.
8:00am - 5K Run/Walk
8:45am - 10K Run
9:00am - Youth Mile (Ages 7-14)
WHAT YOU GET
Participants receive a long-sleeved race t-shirt, a jam-packed goody bag, entry into the post-race pancake breakfast, a free scoop of custard from Culver's on every race rib and refreshments in the finish line area!
RACE DAY FUN INCLUDES
- Health & Fun Fair in race finish area opens at 7:30am
- Post-race Pancake Breakfast for participants inside OPRF’s South Cafeteria
AGE DIVISIONS & AWARDS
Awards are given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place (male & female) for 5K and10K overall, 5K and 10K age divisions, and Youth Mile age divisions. Award ceremonies are staggered, with 5K awards first, Youth Mile awards second, and 10K awards last. Awards not picked up at ceremonies will be available at the Competitive Foot (102 N. Marion in Oak Park) through December 2, 2013. Results will be posted online at www.oakpark.com by 8pm on race day.
